Doctors and Physical Therapists agree that exercise in the water can be one of the best forms of exercise. It provides a safe environment to effectively work out every muscle in the body without placing stress on the ligaments and joints. Aquatic exercise is highly effective for people with medical issues that provide challenges to more common exercise modalities, as well as for the fit individual looking for an enjoyable, yet challenging form of exercise to add to their fitness regime.
